This Privacy Policy describes how MIMBO (“MIMBO”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from getmimbo.com (the “Site”), or otherwise communicate with us.
In this policy, “you” and “your” mean anyone who interacts with us, whether as a customer, a visitor or someone who contacts our support team.
We currently sell and ship within the United States only. By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
MIMBO sells Bluetooth trackers that work with Apple Find My and Android Find Hub. Our store runs on Shopify.

2. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, our technology, or the law. Any update is posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. If a change is significant, we will tell you more directly, for example by email.
3. Information We Collect
What we collect depends on how you interact with us.
a) Information You Provide Directly
- Contact details — your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and phone number.
- Order information — what you bought, your order number, shipping details and order history.
- Payment information — card and payment details are collected and processed by our payment providers, not by us. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card, never the full card number.
- Support messages — anything you send us by email or through the contact form on our Site, including any photos you attach.
- Marketing preferences — your email address if you sign up for our list, and whether you have unsubscribed.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size and language.
- Usage data — pages you view, products you look at, items added to your cart, how you arrived at the Site, and how long you stay.
- Cookie data — identifiers stored by us and by the services listed in section 6.
c) Information from Other Sources
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders and payments on our behalf.
- Shipping carriers and our order tracking provider, which give us delivery status for your parcel.
- Advertising and analytics providers, which may tell us that a visit or a purchase came from one of our ads.
We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To take, process and deliver your order, and to give you tracking information.
- To answer your questions and provide support, including handling returns, refunds and warranty claims.
- To send you transactional messages such as order confirmations and shipping updates.
- To send you marketing email, where you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
- To measure how our advertising performs, and to show you relevant ads.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and chargebacks, and to keep the Site secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share it with service providers who need it to do a job for us, and only for that job:
- Shopify — hosts our store and processes orders and payments.
- Payment providers including Shop Pay, PayPal and Google Pay — take and verify payment.
- Shipping carriers and our order tracking provider — deliver your parcel and report its status.
- Email and messaging providers such as Klaviyo — send order updates and marketing you have signed up for.
- Analytics and advertising providers — measure Site usage and ad performance.
We may also share information where the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request from a public authority, to enforce our terms, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and session working, to remember your preferences, to understand how the Site is used, and to measure our advertising.
Some cookies are strictly necessary — without them the Site cannot work. Others are optional.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site, including checkout, may stop working.
Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control signal. Where we are required to, we treat that signal as an opt-out of targeted advertising for that browser.
7. Your Choices
- Marketing email — click unsubscribe in any marketing message, or email us. This does not stop order confirmations and shipping updates, which we must send.
- Your information — email support@getmimbo.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may need to keep some records, such as order and tax records, for as long as the law requires.
- Cookies and ads — see section 6.
We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these choices.
8. Your California Privacy Rights
If you live in California, you can ask us what categories of personal information we have collected about you, review it, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of having it shared for targeted advertising.
The categories we collect are set out in section 3, what we use them for in section 4, and who we share them with in section 5.
To make a request, email support@getmimbo.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, usually by checking details against an order you placed.
9. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support messages are kept so we can handle warranty and return claims. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, and our store and checkout run over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@getmimbo.com and we will delete it.
12. Links to Other Sites
Our Site links to services we do not control, such as Apple Find My and Android Find Hub. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we suggest you read their policies before using them.
