How discreet is the Mimbo bell?

The Mimbo Bell is designed to blend naturally into your bike setup. Unlike bulky trackers, it looks and works like a normal bicycle bell while discreetly hiding Apple Find My tracking inside.

Will it fit my bike?

Mimbo fits standard handlebars from 22mm to 31.8mm — which covers the large majority of bikes, including most road, commuter, hybrid, and mountain bikes, plus many scooters. It comes with mounting adapters, screws, and a screwdriver in the box.

How can I contact customer support?

If you need help with setup, compatibility, or anything else, our support team is happy to assist you anytime.

Is this a replacement for my lock?

No — keep your lock as your first layer. Mimbo is the second layer: the one that helps you get the bike back if the lock fails.

Why not just tape an AirTag under my saddle?

Because under the saddle is the first place a tracker-aware thief checks, and a bare tag is exposed to weather. The bell hides it where nobody looks — and works as a real bell on top of it.

Is it compatible with Android?

Currently, the Mimbo Bell is designed to work with Apple Find My and requires an Apple device for tracking functionality.

Are there any monthly fees?

No. There are no subscriptions or hidden costs. You pay once and use Apple Find My without additional fees.

How long does the battery last?

The battery lasts up to 6–8 months depending on usage before needing replacement.

Does it need charging?

No charging is needed. Mimbo uses a replaceable battery, so you don’t need cables or frequent charging.

Won't the thief's phone alert them to an unknown tracker?

It can — Apple built those alerts to protect against stalking, and we won't pretend otherwise. But they can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours to appear, and by then your bike has usually stopped somewhere you can see on the map. A last-known location is often all you or the police need. Mimbo isn't magic — it's a real, honest chance to know where your bike went instead of being completely blind. (And it's hidden in a bell, so there's nothing obvious to find and remove.)
